Share Draft Checking Account:   Tired of paying all those fees that a bank charges for a checking account.  At Members First Credit Union there is no charge, No minimum balance, No monthly service charges & No per check charge.  We also offer a Visa® Debit Card with free withdrawal privileges at M&T  Bank ATM machines.  Plus — we will pay you a dividend regardless of your balance.

Holiday & Vacation Club Account:   Need to save money for a special occasion?  We have the perfect solution.  With just a $5 deposit, you can open a separate account that helps you  save all year long.  You can eliminate the use of high interest rate credit cards, avoid withdrawing from your regular savings account & earn the same competitive rates.  We’ll even accept payroll deduction to make saving for the Holiday’s easier.

Share Certificate (CD’s):  We offer 6, 12, 24 & 36 month certificates with competitive yields, guaranteed through the term of deposit.  Minimum deposit - $500.

Individual Retirement Accounts (IRA’s):  An IRA is a tax-deferred savings program that can help you save money for retirement.  IRA funds can be placed in our Share Savings.  Traditional & Roth IRA’s are available.

Convenience

Overdraft Privilege – Overdraft Privilege is a special feature for selected members who have Share Draft Accounts. It helps to protect you against having your checks returned in the event of an inadvertent overdraft of your account by giving you a reserve for emergencies or unexpected situations. There is no fee for having this privilege on your account, you are only charged if you overdraw your account. You do not have Overdraft Privilege on your account until you receive written confirmation from us that it has been added to your account. Accessing – Take advantage of the many services we offer to make accessing your money easy and convenient.  We offer Visa® Debit Cards, Online Banking, Telephone Banking and branch banking.  For more information, visit our Account Accessing page

Online Check Reorder – save time, order your checks through Deluxe online.

Direct Deposit –  Save time, have your employer deposit your payroll check directly to your Share Savings account or your Share Draft Checking Account. 

Payroll Deduction – Need to save money, but don’t have the time to stop in the credit union every week, ask your employer if they allow payroll deduction.  Upon your request, they will deduct an amount you specify each pay and send it directly to your account at Members First Credit Union.   Please call or stop in to get a payroll deduction form.

Entertainment Books – Save year round on restaurants, grocery stores, specialty stores and services.  Proceeds benefit the Maryland Food Bank. Available only in branches.

Free Notary Service – Every now and then you need a notary, it’s good to know you can use this service for free at any Members First Credit Union branch.
