At Members First Federal Credit Union, masks are required when you are entering the branches. Our greatest priority is the health and safety of our members and employees. As such, we are closely monitoring the daily developments regarding COVID-19 (coronavirus) and are following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) and local government officials.

The health and well-being of our employees and members is paramount during these uncertain times as we are encouraged to implement social distancing. Just as important, however, is our commitment to serve the financial needs of our members and be accessible when needed.

*Masks are still required during lobby visits at Members First of Maryland FCU Branches*

Members First Credit Union is here to support our members who may be experiencing financial stress as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. If you've been financially impacted by COVID-19, please contact us at 410-633-8850 to discuss how we might be able to help.

As a precaution, we have invested in additional cleaning and disinfecting services at all of our locations. Furthermore, our employees are exercising everyday preventative measures like washing hands regularly and cleaning personal workspaces to help prevent the spread of germs.

While there is currently no vaccine to protect against the virus, the CDC and NYSDOH recommend the following preventative actions to minimize the spread of all communicable diseases, including COVID-19:

  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least  20 seconds.
  • If soap and water are not available, use hand sanitizer
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands
  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces
  • Practice handshaking when possible
  • Stay home when you are sick

During this time, we want to remind you to be vigilant against scams, including fraudulent phone calls and text messages. Members First will never contact you directly to request account numbers, passwords, debit or credit card numbers, expiration dates, (PIN) personal identification numbers or Social Security numbers. If you feel you have received a fraudulent call and are concerned about potential fraud on your account, please contact our Call Center immediately.
